It's already Monday afternoon in our corner of the world ... I am in the midst of day three of a horrible cold (colds always remind me of how I take breathing through my nose for granted!) and rugged up on the couch next to D, who is looking at Man Things for our planned apartment renovations, which are rapidly gathering pace. But that's a whole other story!
To make myself feel marginally better, I am daydreaming a little about my favourite place in the world - Florence. I would be so happy to be able to be wandering its beautiful streets with my camera right now. That is, assuming I could breathe properly! But even so ...

These are fabulous Natasha, i love the 2nd shot of the Duomo, that's not one you see very often.
On my very first trip to Italy I visited Florence, Rome &Venice.....and Florence was my favourite city. I've seen back to Florence and Rome several times since and I think my current favourite is Rome. With Florence a very close second :)
I imagine you'll be visiting both (hopefully!) on your trip later this year.....I can't wait! Xx
Oh, boo for being sick :( I'm just recovering from a very messy viral infection that has plagued me for a week. I hope you make a speedy recovery!
I didn't make it to Florence either time I went to Italy which is a shame by the looks of these gorgeous pictures. Oh well! Shall just have to go back! Third time lucky!
That takes me back...the thing is it's not until you wake up in THAT city you realise that the bells are not just background sound effects in A Room With A View....and what a view it is, sort of bowls you over....
