It is an extremely cold, grey and dreary Thursday afternoon in Sydney, so I thought I would post some images of Venice to inject a little colour into the day. My parents are currently on their Big European Adventure and were in Venice this week, but both managed to get food poisoning :( so it was probably not such an enjoyable time for them, the poor things. Will have to make a mental note to ask them where they ate so that I can avoid it in the event that I am ever lucky enough to go back!
And after the sun goes down ...

You're making my feet itchy (in a travel bug kind of way).
ReplyDeleteI'm supposed to be writing an essay that's due tomorrow and that I haven't really started as yet (!!!) but this post fed my procrastination perfectly. I love love LOVE Venice. Could you imagine living there? All those gorgeous little lanes (are they lanes? Streets? Alleys? Nothing seems quite right. Do they have another name?) with hidden cafes and restaurants ... Sigh. Now back to the science fiction essay - bleurgh, science fiction.
ReplyDeleteAlso, bleurgh to food poisoning! Hope your parents recovered swiftly.
*big sigh* - I want to go......right now!

ReplyDeleteBest greetings from Belgium, Marjolijn
Okay girlie, you MUST stop with these amazing travel pics- they are making my not-currently-having-any-travel-plans life seem awfully dull... What I wouldn't give to have a trip to Italy planned!
