It is Friday evening in our little corner of the world and we are watching The Farmer Wants a Wife (turns out that we are quite the reality television tragics!) whilst I am trying to get over yet. another. cold (grr) in time for D's birthday tomorrow.  D couldn't care less about it (his birthday, that is, not the fact that I am sick), but I am super excited as this is the first time that I actually get to spend his birthday with him, so hopefully my cold will go away and the weather will improve after today's crazy gale-force winds.

As usual, just throwing in some random photographs, this time of San Francisco's Ferry Building, where my love affair with salted caramels began (and I nearly inadvertently stole some nectarines) ...
